Wilmington Outfit

I have been getting a lot of comments about the outfit that I wore to Wilmington few weekends ago.  It's not that I was wearing anything special, just that I must have put some key pieces together to make a killer outfit.  Not to toot my own horn or anything, but as all of us, I love getting compliments about my clothes.  Now, here's the pickle... my clothes, as all of ours are, are an accumulation of items over time.  Meaning, even though I remember where my jeans are from there is a very good chance that said store does not sell them anymore.  Fear not I have link similar items below that you can browse through!

It was a very nice day when Omar and I decided to go on our Wilmington Adventure, but still a bit windy out.  We were by the water after all.  So I decided to wear my go-to cream colored knit sweater.  It literally goes with anything and everything.  Problem with this is... I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE I GOT IT!  Seriously, it just appeared in my room one day.  I'm guessing my mom or grandma got it for me, but besides that I don't know where it came from.  (If one of my friends left it at my house, you are so not getting it back!)  I then paired it with my favorite colored jeans.  I got these bad boys at Hollister, years ago.  Honestly, like maybe 2011/2012?  Who really knows, but they are red, they fit me well, and they are super comfy.  The next key piece which have been my favorite shoes recently are these black ballet style flats that tie at the top.  Steven Madden makes a pair just like these, but I found the cheap (college-girl-on-a-budget) version of these at Wet Seal in  the Jacksonville Mall.  I saw them, knew I had to have them, so I got them.  Here's the kicker though, they were on the sale rack (for $4 I might add) and I got the last pair in my size.  They also had pink ones but none were my size.  Bummer.  If you have a Wet Seal near where you live I highly recommend stopping by there this weekend to check out their inventory.  If you're lucky maybe you'll find pair your size.  If you find the pink pair in a size 6 let me know and I will gladly refund you ;) !

That's it!  A few key items from my closet that I love, are comfortable, and make me feel good.  If you're saying to yourself "I have nothing to wear," you're lying.  Grab some of your go-to's and make something new from them!  Then send me a pic because I love getting fashion inspiration.
