Apartment Tour: Bathroom
It's time for part three of my apartment tour series.  Although, this room isn't anything special, it's still apart of my apartment nonetheless.  Coming from a one shower home with at one point six people living it, having a nice spacious bathroom was defintely important to me.  I also needed to make sure that it had enough storage and counter space because I was going to be living with a boy.... ewwwww.

I have to say, I actually really like the way that the bathroom situation is set up in our apartment complex.  It's at the very end of the hall and right next to the bedroom so the location is perfect.  It's pretty long complete with a counter with a lot of counter space, a bathtub/shower, a closet, and the laundry room.  I never knew how much I loved the laundry rooom being right in the bathroom.  We hardly use the dirty clothes bin because we just throw all of our dirty clothes right in the wash before we shower and start a load when it gets full.  It's super convienent!

There isn't much to say about the bathroom really.  I can try to remember where I got everything and list it down below, but to be honest it's a ton neccesities gathered from a ton of random places.  The front of the door had a towel hanger, but isn't that a bit weird to have it on the front?  We just hang Oliver's towel from it since it hardly gets used.  On the back of the bathroom door, my mom got us this towel hanger from Walmart.  We even hang some of our more delicate clothes to air dry on the back of it so it gets a lot of use.  The linen closet is right next to the main door and inside we keep towels (obviously), travel cases, hair products, extras (shampoos, soaps, toothpaste, etc), and on the bottom we keep toliet paper.  On the counter I have this mirror tray that I believe is from Marshall's.  I actually used to have this on my vanity back at home, but when I moved I decided to put it in the bathroom.  It holds all of mine and Omar's (okay mostly mine) everday items.  We have perfumes and colognes, lotions, deodrants, face wash, acne medicine, and a couple hair products.  My favorite thing about this tray is the hedgehog Q-tip holder that I got in San Francisco (shout out Javier for finding this for me).  Next to the mirror tray I have this white ceramic pineapple toothbrush holder that Rocio got me for Christmas.  Yes, we have four toothbrushes- one for Omar, one for me, one for Jackson, and one for Oliver.  On the other side of the sink I have a clear plastic jar where I just keep all of my nail polishes.  I saw this little DIY on Pinterest and loved it right away!  Behind that is my Clarisonic face washer that I got for Christmas from my grandma.  I like to keep this on the counter so I remember to use it everyday.  I also left it in the shower one time and it never properly dried.  It ended up smelling really bad so ever since then I leave it out so it can dry and I keep the charging chord right next to it so it never goes dead!  The plug is right next to the counter too so it's perfect for when I do my hair.  As you can see this mirror is gigantic and I love the glamorous light bulbs above it!  Underneath our sink we keep all of the bathroom cleaning supplies, more toliet paper (easier to get to when needed), Oliver's shampoo & brush, and a few other random things.

The toliet is right in between the sink and the shower.  Above the toliet I have two hand towels (thanks mom and dad!) hanging and then I have a mini candle my mom got me, a fancy bath oil from my grandma, and a glade air freshner.  Next to the toliet I have a wastebasket and on the other side is a tall glass vase from At Home that I keep filled with different bath salts and bath bombs.  I love this easy DIY because the it keeps the bath stuff with in reach, but also makes for a decorative bath piece.  The bathtub/shower combo is typical.  Nothing special about it, but my shower curtain is from At Home too I believe.  I really liked the idea of white/grey/blue for the bathroom because they go together really nicely and aren't too feminine or masculine.  We used to have a grey memory foam bath mat, but it got burned (another story for another time).  Next to the shower is the foldable door that leads to the laundry room.  Like I said, I love having the laundry room in here, it's just super handy!  Our apartment came with a washer and dryer which was really nice and saved us money in the long run.  Above the washer and dryer we have a long white shelf great for storage.  We just keep extra laundry detergant, bleach, ironing board, laundry bag, plumbing and unclogging stuff my mom got us, Omar's cammies, and old shirts & blankets that I used to use for Lumpy.  There are two hooks that came on the wall so I just hung my robes up there and then there's our laundry basket that rarely gets used!

There you have it.  The least interesting room in the apartment!  Like I said, my bathroom is pretty basic, but it's still apart of my humble abode.  Stay tuned for the next part of my apartment tour!
