The City That Never Sleeps
I honestly never get tired of writing New York blog posts. It's my favorite place in this whole world and I never have the same trip twice. There's so much to do and I swear it gets more fun the more times I visit. This time I visited with my mom and though she was going for business, I went just for fun. I spent a lot of my time on my own during the day exploring and I must say, I really liked it. I usually hate doing thing by myself, but when I'm in the city it's invigorating to be on my own. Here's everything I did during my NYC visit.

Once my mom and I arrived to our hotel we were eager to hit the town. We were starving at first so we wanted to eat and since I always keep tabs of new places I want to try I knew just the place! We went to Pietro Nolita and it did not disappoint. Not only was it super cute and trendy but the food was amazing! Plus it was the perfect portion to fill us up but still leave room for dessert, which was next. I knew my mom would love this next place. We had dessert which was just a few blocks away at Milk & Cream Cereal Bar. O M G! Just thinking about this ice cream makes my mouth water. I decided to get vanilla ice cream mixed with Cap n' Crunch and Fruity Pebbles, with caramel and Teddy Grahams as the topping all inside a Fruity Pebble flavored cone. This was hands down the best ice cream I've ever had and this is my new favorite ice cream place!

Throughout the week my mom was working so I spent the week exploring on my own. I had a lot of fun things planned that weekend including the photoshoot at the Museum of Ice Cream Pop-Up Shop called The Pint Shop. I did A LOT of shopping too which included finding $15 Levi jeans! A couple of the days I even walked all the way to Central Park and just hung out reading my book in the park. The first time I attempted to do this I had brunch at Le Pain Quotidien and the waffle was so perfect!  After about five minutes in the park it started to pour and I had to escape the rain as fast as I could.  I also tried Bluestone Lane Coffee one morning and had some incredible coffee and avocado toast with a poached egg. During one of my walks I even passed by the Hearst Magazine building *insert eye heart emoji.*  After my mom would get off work we would explore Time Square and get dinner together. It was really fun being able to explore on my own and hanging out with my mama at night after she got off work.
