A few years ago my mom cleaned out her office and came across some old film cameras. I easily kept them and let them sit in my camera bag for a while before taking them to a camera store to get cleaned up. Something I have been loving lately is using film over digital. Not that I really know what I'm doing but I just remember being younger and getting film developed was like a mini gift to myself. Of course like everything else, film cameras are becoming trendy again so I thought doing a LA on film blog post would be super cool and maybe even start a series. Not all of these photos were taking in Los Angeles of course, but LA on film just sounded catchier. Here's the film and polaroid pictures that we took during our trip!

I have always loved going to yard sales with my grandma growing up. There really is something about finding something for such great price that gives me a thrill. Maybe it's the early sign of a shopping addiction, eh whatever. Another way to get a great deal is thrifting.

You walk into a store knowing things are cheap and you might just walk out with some really great finds. You have to have the right energy for it though. Something I've learned is I don't like the type of thrift stores that have no organization. I need some type of organization. I also need the clothes to be organized by sizes or else I get very overwhelmed and burnout quickly. My friend, Ana, told me about this thrift store called Savers in Woodbridge, VA and we went to check it out the other day. I was very pleased with the store and found some great items that I had to share with you all right away. I tried my very best to link items as I found them and I also can't share some items because I got some Christmas gifts for friends and family (stay tuned for a Christmas blog), but I did share what I could down below.

I've shared my grocery haul + what I eat in a day with you all before, but today I'm sharing my favorite picks from Trader Joe's. Trader Joe's is one of the most popular grocery stores and there's always new products that come out that can be gone before you even get a chance to try it. I go grocery shopping (just about) every Sunday and when we do our main grocery trip we will actually do multiple stops to stock up on stuff. However, for the most part we just go to Aldi and Trader Joe's. Here are the items that we are constantly grabbing at Trader Joe's.

Nothing gets me more excited than transforming my apartment into a festive place. My parents always decorated for the holidays and remembering that as a kid, I knew I wanted to make my home one day a festive place. So from the months of September-January you can always come to my place if you're looking for a cozy and festive vibe.

I truly believe a little goes a long way and decorations are no exceptions to that. I live in a decent size apartment, not small, but not big by any means so small statement pieces are key. Most of the decor is in the living room and kitchen and most importantly, everything has to match. My taste is simple and I like when decor pieces look like they're coming from the same line.
