Fenty Beauty Review

Washington, DC, USA

RiRi has done it again. Rihanna is always a hot topic of conversation and no less was expected when she came out with her own makeup line: Fenty Beauty. The bold highlights and blushes caught my eye but it was the primer and foundation that made me reach for it on the shelves.

I was really interested to see if it was as perfect as everyone was saying it was. I have oily combination skin so I always use a matte finish product, but sometimes it can feel too heavy or too cakey on the skin. My favorite foundation product is Too Faced Born This Way, but I must say, Fenty Beauty has made the list.

The first thing I noticed was how well it blended into the skin. You really don’t need much but a drop to get a full coverage. Then you can easily go back in an build up on certain imperfections. I will say though, the YouTuber’s I watch were right when they said it does dry fairly quickly. I also didn’t need as much setting powder as I thought I usually use. I tend to bake my foundation for about 5-10 minutes depending on what I’m doing that day, but since these products were matte intensified, I didn’t need to wait that long.

The next product I used was the Fenty Beauty Killawat Freestyle Highlighter.  GIRRRLLLL. This highlight is powerful. The texture feels very soft and it blends into the skin so nicely. It doesn’t have a lot of fall out and it doesn’t just sit on top of your foundation either. It really does make a nice mixture to make this bold pink blush/highlight combo look almost natural.

I give RiRi a 10/10 and I can’t wait to see what else she comes out with! Did you try Fenty Beauty yet? What did you think? Leave me a comment down below!
