I can't believe I'm already putting together this blog post. I honestly almost missed it because wow February went by so quickly. And I don't even mean because it's a short month, I just mean I was so busy that before I knew it the month was over. But that's how it is every year I feel like. January drags on and on and then February-December is just gone in the blink of an eye. Except April—April is kinda slow too. Maybe that's just me though 😝.
Highs: This month was crazy busy and I spent so much time with family and friends and I felt so loved because of my birthday. Even though this month flew by—I'm really appreciative of having so much love and support around me.
Lows: February is one of my favorite months and as I mentioned I had so much going on, but on the other end of that I was dealing with a lot of mental health and anxiety issues. Anyone with anxiety understands that it's almost uncontrollable and it can be difficult to explain why you're feeling a certain way. And that was the case this month. It's hard to pinpoint or really explain—but I was just a little rough on myself this month and now that I've acknowledge that and worked through it I'm looking forward to heading into March with a positive outlook!
Favorites
Euphoria // I am a Euphoria girly now and this show is amaazzzing. No spoilers, but you need to watch. Season 2 Episode 5 is the best episode IMO from the entire series.
Snorlax & Pikachu LED Lamp // This was a birthday gift from my friend Danya and it has gotten so much use since. I can't even begin to explain how much happiness this little lamp brings me, it's just the cutest thing!
UGGS // My BFF has done it again and she got me a pair of UGGs for my birthday. I'm trying really hard not to wear them 24/7 so they last me longer than my last pair did, but I am literally obsessed.
Claw Clips // I've jumped on the bandwagon for this to but I totally get it. I'm a claw clip gal now and my hair has thanked me for it!
Ouai Wave Spray || I honestly just love any Ouai products because they smell amazing, but also because their products make my hair so soft! I think I shared a bit about my natural hair journey—basically trying to find the original color and texture of my hair—so I will definitely be using a lot of Ouai products and this is just the current fave!!
Sol Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream || I finally joined the bandwagon and picked up the travel size version of this (and other products) at Sephora. I wanted to try it out befo re I really invested in these expensive products. But now I get why they're so expensive ... because they're amazing. I love this Bum Bum Cream! It smells divine and isn't too thick on my skin. I'll report back if it actually helps with tightening and firming the skin later on though.
Mine & Oliver's Birthday // Every year I feel so loved by my family and friends for my birthday and this year was no different. I had so many different types of celebrations and even thinking about that fun weekend brings a smile to my face. My boyfriend threw me a Pokémon themed birthday dinner, we went around town and got our birthday freebies and of course we celebrated Oliver's 6th birthday too. My Everyday Jewelry // Between Christmas and my birthday I have upgraded my everyday jewelry collection. My jewelry consist of pieces from Tiffany & Co., Baublebar and Amazon.
Truly Unicorn Fruit Lip Mask // I don't even know if I have the words to explain how obsessed I am with this product but I'll try. My friends Rocio and Gabe got me this for my birthday and I am freaking addicted. Not only does it smell soooo good, but it taste good too! Not in a weird way, but it's a lip product so it goes on my lips. I love this lip mask so much and I will definitely be repurchasing for like the rest of my life.
Summer Friday's Jet Lag Mask // Another skin care item I have quickly become obsessed with and for good reason. I totally understand why all the influencers rave about this product—because it's amazing! The smell is incredible, the formula is perfection and the way it sits on your skin just feels heavenly. I only purchased the travel size of this but I will definitely be buying the full size here soon.
Truly Dragon Milk Anti-Blemish Body Lotion || Okay so there's a lot of skincare under favorite this month. But that's because I got so many great products for my birthday! So shout out to Rocio & Gabe again because this lotion smells insanely good! Like Truly products are seriously some of the best smelling things I've ever smelt...I wonder if they have perfumes 🤔.
High Frequency Wand from NewWay || You guys...this has been on my wishlist for a while now. And when I say my besties came through...they came through. I've used this device weekly and I have seen such a HUGE improvement on my skin. It's insane. If you are having some skin troubles go invest in this right now because it's worth every penny.
Tiffany & Co. Presents // I'll lump all of these into one category because each year for my birthday my boyfriend gets me something from Tiffany & Co. It's been a tradition since the first year we dated and of course I freaking love it! He's so good at picking out things for me and I always look forward to what he picks out each year. This year he got me a card wallet and the "Windows" coffee table book! And to my surprise my wonderful parents ALSO got me something from Tiffany's this year! A glasses case for my everyday glasses! Look when I tell you that my purse is filled with Tiffany Blue I mean it. Ugh I just love my family so much and seriously can't thank you all enough for making my everyday life a million times better with these T&CO. items!
