Lukas Nursery is located in Oviedo, FL, and has a great selection of plants, flowers, herbs, trees, and more! Then in the back, they have a butterfly encounter where you can learn about butterflies and also hang out with them. I don't want to say you can "hold" the butterflies but with the nectar jars, they will land on you. The encounter is $6 a person and there's no time limit. You walked through a beautiful garden and see a ton of birds and loose butterflies, then in a little enclosure is where you can hang out with the other butterflies that will land on you and hang out. You even have to double-check to make sure there aren't any butterflies on your back when you exit.
After we hung out with the butterflies we got some herbs and veggies to start our own little garden. We will definitely be coming back here when we start to work on the yard and backyard garden.
