I know that my monthly recaps haven't been that exciting because I haven't really done much these past couple months except work! Since I'm working in the office now a lot of my time is eaten up by commuting to work and I never realize how miserable that makes me. By the time I get home I'm just exhausted and don't want to browse the internet (hence why there's mostly TikToks in the Links I Love section) and I don't feel like doing things after work. Since my boyfriend and I are trying to make some big plans for our future we've been on a saving kick so I'm also not spending as much. Which is great for my bank account but not so great when trying to test out products and sharing them with you all. So yes, the past few months have not been glamorous or exciting but isn't that life? Not every month will be great, but it makes you appreciate the days that ARE great!
That being said, I wanted to specifically point out an event that happened mid-September and that was that my niece turned six months old!! As a millennial parent, my SIL and brother threw her a half birthday that was Elmo/Sesame Street themed (which I'm here for because Elmo and I share the same birthday #facts). My SIL went above and beyond for just a half birthday—I can't wait to see what she does for the years to come. She's so creative and artistic—those photo props were made by her with her circuit machine—meanwhile I can't even draw a straight line. Stassi is soo lucky to have fun and creative parents who make her feel special even on the silly to you not to me celebrations. Highs: September was definitely better than August. I had a lot of great opportunities come my way including the opportunity to volunteer at the local animal shelter and join the Washington Football Team's Hype Team as a part-time position! Not that I needed to add anything else to my plate, but it feels good to be focusing on myself and my career goals, kind of like the old hustle version of Michele is back!
Lows: If my only low is that I have to commute a far way to and from work then I'll take it. The hour-hour and half commute really sucks and takes a lot out of me financially, physically and mentally. I've also been eating out a lot because I'm too tired to cook and honestly just being lazy. So I don't want to be spending this kind of money on eating out-it's such a waste! Once this is over with I know that I'll be able to mentally focus better! Stay tuned on that tidbit!

Pokémon // I started re-watching Pokémon from the first episode on Netflix and it's such a nostalgic moment. I love it and I'm glad there are numerous episodes that can binge watch.
Let's Go Pikachu Nintendo Switch Game // My boyfriend bought me this game and I have been OBSESSED. I'm even Googling things and making sure I do everything correctly. I freaking LOVE this game!!
Pokémon Oreos // To continue the obsession the Pokémon Oreos came out recently and I mean... I had to.
Caramel Apple Lollipops // This is a seasonal favorite. I am not a pumpkin spice gal, I am a apple cider and caramel apple gal.
Volunteering // I started volunteering at the local animal shelter and it has made a huge difference in my life. I just started, but I'm happy I did because I'm giving my time to animals that need it. I'm not doing something for money or to fill my resume, I'm doing it because it's good for the soul, for the heart and good for the animals.

Bratz 20 Year Anniversary // I can't believe I'm saying this but Bratz Dolls came out...twenty...years ago. Yeah that got stuck in my throat as I tried to spit that out. To say I feel old is an UNDERSTATEMENT. Nonetheless, they have re-released the OG Bratz Dolls at local toy stores with the 20 year branding on the front and I'm a little sad no one bought me one (hint hint Santa).
Wedding Songs // This girl is able to incorporate your favorite theme songs into songs that you can walk down the aisle too 😍. My favorites so far is Harry Potter, Pokémon and Game of Thrones.
Twilight Series // When did I miss this message? Apparently Stephanie Meyer announced that she wants to write two more books for the Twilight series but there's no release date yet. Need these books in my life NOW!
Powerpuff Girls Colourpop Collection // Another collection that I want to drop all my money on. This Powerpuff Girls x Colourpop makeup collection is EVERYTHING!!
You Season 3 Trailer // I am SO excited for season 3 because season 2 was such a disappointment. I hope season 3 of "You" goes more into the story of him and his mom and is it wrong if I want him to kill Love? Also where is Ellie? Like I need answers...not want, NEED.
