Just like most people, coffee is what starts my day. The smell of it, the first sip…everything about it just gets my day started on a positive note. Until I get that work email of course š. Lately, I’ve been wanting to spice up my coffee at home game, so that 1. I can save some money š and 2. So I don’t get sick of the same recipe every day.

There have been a handful of things that I have really been into lately. May it be a fashion item, a television show, or an activity—I have been busy!! And since I’ve been juggling a full-time job and renovating a house there are a few things that have really been keeping me sane lately.

OoOoOoOO. It’s been a minute since I’ve shared the books I’ve read and last month I blew through them. I needed a tech break and devoured several books in just a few short weeks. I shared a while ago the list of books I have read recently (Click here to read the blog post), and I’m back to do it again. Book opinions that no one asked for š.
Please note some of these books have a trigger warning (TW) and these are my opinions (IMO) some blurbs may contain spoilers (SPA).

I love date night! But I don’t love spending a ton of money š . My boyfriend and I are always coming up with fun date ideas that are inexpensive but memorable. Because all really you need is you and your partner to have a fun date!

About a month ago Mama and Papa Katz came down to Central Florida to help us with the house and of course for a mini vay-cay too. This was also a great time to explore Central Florida and knock off some "want to do" things on my Florida list.

This feels so surreal. I'm usually the one doing the interviewing–but this time I was the one being interviewed. Orlando Voyager reached out to do a Q&A with me about being a content creator and starting a vacation rental company in Orlando! I was so honored to be a part of this series, mostly because as I said, I'm not the one usually being interviewed.

I swear, organizing your day-to-day life used to be so much easier when you were in school and had an agenda. That’s just now adulthood works though. I can’t carry my overpriced Lily Pulitzer or Victoria's Secret’s PINK agenda anymore. I have to have access to my calendars and to-do list instantly.

As I mentioned before I decided to throw a huge party to celebrate turning 30 this year. I had a theme and mandatory dress code that everyone had to adhere to. Since most of my friends and family live in Northern Virginia I knew that coming down to my new home in Florida was asking a lot, so I wasn't shocked when a lot of people weren't able to make it. But for the friends that were able to make it—they made me feel so special, loved, and celebrated all weekend long. I shared a whole separate post about Oliver's birthday (click here to read) and my birthday party (click here to read) but the whole weekend was so special to me that I wanted to be sure to document it so I always remember š„°.

I turned 30 this year!! WOW! When people say that your 30s are your best years yet—they weren't lying. I know, I know, I just turned 30, but so far I'm fucking loving it. Since I'm extra AF I wanted to do a birthday photoshoot to go with the theme of my 30th birthday party. So I put together my best Emo Princess fit and had an at-home photoshoot to celebrate turning 30.

In early January my boyfriend and I went to the Harry Potter and the Forbidden Forest Experience in Leesburg, VA. I had been seeing this thing all over my for you page and even hometown friends had posted about it so I knew I had to go.

I decided not to do a "What I Got For Christmas" post this year because we just moved out of state and I simply did not have the bandwidth to do all that it takes to put into that post. Because it takes a lot! But I love sharing what I gave to my family and friends because it's easier to track and also there are some cool products out there that I want to share š. So I'm sharing some of my favorite gifts I gave this year.

Every time someone finds out that I’m a vegetarian the first thing they ask me is, “Why?” It’s a fair question. Especially since I’ve been a vegetarian since I was 14 years old (almost 16 years š±).

It’s no secret that content creation takes a lot of work. And a blog is included in that. I love coming up with new ideas and executing the fun photo shoots that go behind them, but actually organizing, editing, and posting all of the content can be very overwhelming.
