Funny Girl On Broadway (And Other New York Adventures)

I know, I know. This post is beyond overdue, but back in October, I took my mom to New York for two reasons 1. to celebrate my mom's birthday and 2. to see Lea Michele in Funny Girl! Say what you will about the girl but the bitch can sing okay. She's so talented and seeing her play Fanny Brice in Funny Girl on Broadway was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity I was not going to pass up.

My 30th Birthday Wishlist

Holy crap. My heart just spilt into two pieces writing that title. And I'm undecided if that's a good or bad thing. It's more surreal. I still feel like I'm 18 and have to ask my parents permission to stay out past midnight. I was literally just in Forks, Washington living out my Twilight dreams and I'm almost done with my Invisalign (aka: braces, again). How the hell am I turning thirty??

What I Gave For Christmas

I decided not to do a "What I Got For Christmas" post this year because we just moved out of state and I simply did not have the bandwidth to do all that it takes to put into that post. Because it takes a lot! But I love sharing what I gave to my family and friends because it's easier to track and also there are some cool products out there that I want to share šŸ˜Š. So I'm sharing some of my favorite gifts I gave this year.

5 Apps That Help Me Create Content For My Blog

It’s no secret that content creation takes a lot of work. And a blog is included in that. I love coming up with new ideas and executing the fun photo shoots that go behind them, but actually organizing, editing, and posting all of the content can be very overwhelming.

Holy Crap–It's 2023!

Is it just me or does it feel like anyone who was thriving in 2020 has had a rough past couple of years? I don’t know what it is—but I think when my job went back to in-person in the second half of 2021 everything went kind of downhill from there. I struggled a lot mentally as it seemed that time was ticking away and yet I hadn’t accomplished what I had set out to. And 2022 was such a magical number—literally angel numbers! Yet I carried a lot of guilt feeling like I had wasted that year.
