This has to be one of my favorite holiday activities. It's not something I do even year and it's not even something that we did as children, but as an adult I have seriously enjoyed making these gingerbread houses the past few years.

Then two years in a row we had a gingerbread house competition with our friends and the first one my boyfriend and I did was Super Mario Brothers and then we sort of DIY'd ourselves "The Wall" scene from Game of Thrones. This year while I was doing some shopping I saw the Barbie Dreamhouse Gingerbread House kit and knew I wanted to do this as a Christmas activity. Then I saw an M&M's Football and Soccer Stadium Gingerbread House Kit and just knew that this would be the perfect one for my boyfriend and I was going to make a little date out of it. Which really was just me getting home and being like "Can we do this now pleaseeee!?"
He's a trooper though and he really liked his soccer stadium that he got to create and he even put his personal touch by making the stadium the color of the travel academy he coaches for. These both turned out so cute and it was a lot of fun.
