Sweet Life Festival 2014

If you've never heard of The Sweet Life Festival you need to google it and buy your tickets for next year's event ASAP!  This concert was so amazing and the line-up had so many of my favorite artist!  I went with Rocio and two other friends.  Everything from the music to the free gifts, the drinks and the good, all of it made the dead car battery, forgetting the tickets and having to turn around, and missing the first two performances worth it.

I had heard the song 'Safe & Sound' about a thousand times on the radio, but I had no idea that Capital Cities were such amazing performers!  Their songs are not only upbeat but also very easy to dance to.  They definitely got the crowd hyped up.  I even got to touch Ryan Merchant's hand as they ran by after their set.

The main event of the night was Lana Del Rey.  She is just as talented as she is gorgeous.  Her voice is hauntingly beautiful.  I wish I could have been closer to her performance but the big screen did just fine.  She barely had to try to look like a goddess on stage and the love she had for her fans was overwhelming.  If anyone ever gets a chance they need to go see her perform!

The closing act was Foster The People and their performance made me feel like I was back in middle school all over again.  Even at the end when the rain came pouring down only made everyone have that much more fun!

If you have never been to a music festival I suggest you start doing your research now.  It's tons of fun and festivals like this just brings the performers and their fans that much closer together.
