My bedtime routine is sacred to me. It is the most relaxing part of my day and honestly—it’s my favorite part. You put on some comfy clothes, set the vibe and have just a relaxing few moments before your body shuts down after a long day. It’s the best feeling!

There are three things that I always do before I get into bed though to help me be my most relaxed self. There’s definitely more than three things that lead up to this, but when I do these three tasks I know the next thing that’s going to happen is I’m getting under the covers and not moving for the rest of the night (or until I have to pee again šŸ˜…).

  1. Set the vibe

Now, this one is subject to change depending on the person. But for me, setting the vibe includes lighting a candle, turning on my soft lights, turning on the humidifier, turn on my heating pad and spraying This Works Better Sleep Pillow Spray before I get into bed. These little things help relax me and help me drift off to sleep.

  1. Put on comfy clothes šŸ‘±šŸ¼‍♀️

This is an obvious one but you must be comfortable. We are over the whole “must wear a matching pajama set” phase because no—nothing and I mean nothing, has even come close to beating a large oversized t-shirt and a pair of undies. That’s it. That’s all I need to be my most comfortable self for bedtime.

  1. Take your “sleepy time” aid šŸ’¤

I wasn’t sure how to phrase this, but I swear everyone has their own sleep aid nowadays. Besides my boyfriend, I don’t know anyone else who can just fall asleep when they close their eyes. I definitely can’t! I love taking a CBD gummy to relax my mind, body and help me drift off to sleep at a decent time. I know other people really like Sleepy Time Tea—I’m not a big tea drinker, but I’ve heard great things about this! There are also melatonin and CBD pens that I’ve heard great things about. Whatever it is, find what works for you and incorporate it into your night routine.
