20 Things I Want To Accomplish In 2020

The golden year is here. 2020 has the nicest ring to it. If you don't feel empowered by this date I don't know what to tell you. I'm going to sound like every other person on the Internet, but I can feel it in my bones–2020 is going to be my year. There is just so much that I want to accomplish in the next 365 days and what a better way to get the year started than sharing them online with all of you. You all keep me accountable when it comes to my goals and helping me be the best version of myself possible. 2019 was a huge learning curve from me, so many changes in my life that I can't really explain but I knew that I wanted something different for this new year. I have more meaningful and deeper aspirations for this year. I feel as if I've taken the deepest breath of fresh and I have such a new take on life. Goodbye 2019, this gal is ready for 2020.

20 Things I Want To Accomplish In 2020

1) Move to New York (this has been a goal of mine for the last decade, but there's no reason I can't accomplish it now)
2) Reach 2,000 followers on Instagram (@michelekatsaris)
3) Be a morning workout person
4) Be debt free (minus student loans, because let's be real)
5) Have at least one PAID collaboration for my blog
6) Get on a couple PR list (#prfriendly)
7) Travel to Europe (can you believe I've never been??)
8) Sell my car (2000 Ford Mustang Convertible, DM if interested)
9) Go on a solo weekend trip with Oliver for our birthday in February
10) Start & be consistent with journaling
11) Visit a new state (19/50)
12) Spend only $400 on eating out this year (sound like a lot? think about how many times you buy a $10 Chipotle bowl, a $5 cup of Starbucks coffee, it adds up)
13) Get rid of half my stuff (this sounds odd, but I just realized that I have a lot of stuff. Not just clothes, but books, kitchen tools, stuffed animals, picture frames and yes clothes. if it hasn't been used in months, it's getting donated and sold)
14) Going off of #13, invest in higher quality pieces ( I will no longer be purchasing things because it's cheap, it's time for higher quality pieces)
15) Be okay with saying "no" more often and not have people be offended (it's not that I don't want to see you, I just don't want to have to explain myself as to why I can't attend something)
16) Finish reading a book before I purchase a new one (I have a ton of books on my to-read list, but I should clear some room off of my shelves first)
17) Become consistent with blogging (I worked on this a bit with my relaunch, but having a set schedule that I don't stray from would be so refreshing)
18) Visit a new city (different from visit a new state, this is for a state I've been to but explore a new city I've never been to)
19) Take a PhotoShop class (online or in person, would just love to fine tune this skillset)
20) Have a set nighttime schedule (this includes a time to go to bed, a nightly skincare routine and things to put me at peace before sleep such as light a candle, read a book, essential oil diffuser, etc)
