Bloggers, YouTubers, podcasters and creatives unite! When I'm traveling or shuffling between work and home, there are some products that a creative on the go just needs. I can't tell you how many times I've reached into my bag looking for something that I needed and was disappointed when I didn't have it. So I created a checklist when I knew I wasn't going to be in the house to make sure that I always carry these exact items.
Tech Bag // It can be any brand that you like, but you should have some sort of backpack or bag that has all of your stuff in one place so you can grab it and go.
Chargers // This one might be an obvious, but you should keep backup chargers for your phone, camera, iPad or whatever else you have.
Computers & Tablets // Another staple, but you can't bring a desktop with you so it's best if you have a laptop or tablet that you can travel with easily.
USB C-Hub // If you have a newer MacBook then you know that there is no USB or memory card port so you need to buy a portable hub to plug in anything with a USB.
External Hard Drive // A MUST! If you're going to get anything from this list get an external hard drive. Back up your computers before it's too late. I can't stress this one enough. Especially if you work on large projects with Adobe Suites or Final Cut Pro.. you need to back up your projects asap on an external hard drive.
AirPods // Not just any type of headphones, you need AirPods. They're lightweight and bluetooth so you can easily plug in and get some work down without the hassle of large headphones.
Blue Light Glasses // If you get headaches while looking at the screen then you already have a pair, but you should have a back up pair in your to-go bag. I can't tell you how many times I've left the house smacking myself because I didn't bring my glasses. Buy an extra pair off of Amazon and throw them in your bag for backup.
Notebooks // If you're a creative then you know you are constantly writing things down so keep an extra notebook or two in your bag.
