I recently found not one, not two, but THREE Halloween dog costumes for my dog. Of course, these outfits were labeled XL or “one size” but they barely fit my dog 😂. Oliver is a big boy—so we need to discuss the sizing they have for dogs because they’re not meeting the vibe check here.
As you can see I tried all of these outfits not just with my 90lb husky but also with my parent’s 20lb sheltie. They fit Smokey (sheltie) a lot better than they fit Oliver (husky)—but as you can tell by their faces—they weren’t having too much fun. They were good troopers though and received lots of treats 😂!
However, this gave me the idea to head to the tried and true Amazon to find some Halloween costume inspiration for my pup and I hit the jackpot! I was so excited I couldn’t wait to share with you all some of my favorite dog costumes found on Amazon!

Here’s the thing with dog costumes…they can’t be too complex. As much as I loved the Star Wars costume (seen on the sheltie) it was super complex and had too many details. Dogs don’t want to sit that long for you to dress them, so if you want to go simple but cute go with any of these costumes 👇🏼 .
